Hello! Yesterday, I sat around and made cross stitch patterns of mascot characters from different anime, so today, I am going to post one of the four patterns that I finished. I would post more than one of them, but I'm hoping to stretch these patterns out for as many posts as possible, despite the fact that I plan to make more of them. For today, however, I am posting the pattern of Ein from Cowboy Bebop, which is probably the most realistic pattern in the set. I didn't think that this pattern would go well at all, but in the end, I think that it ended up looking okay! Plus, if you're not into anime, this could be a perfectly serviceable portrait pattern of a corgi, so for dog lovers, this pattern may also be useful. It's about 90 by 90 stitches, so it could take a while to stitch, but if any of you decide to make it, I'm sure that I will be shocked by your speed and ability to focus! Anyway, I hope that you guys like this pattern, and the other mascot characters I'm going to be posting. I'm trying to keep the sizes relatively consistent, so they might work as an okay set.

Because it was so exciting the last time that I did this, I'm posting a WIP photo of my new cross stitch project made artificially bigger with the use of seven count plastic canvas! This project comes from Big Stitch Cross Stitch, a book of patterns by Jacqui Pearce, and in the end, it's going to be a picture of a cassette tape with some of the tape unraveling from it in an unrealistically artistic fashion. Right now, however, my version of this is a few pink stripes and even fewer orange ones, both of which are much more neon than the designer originally intended. Working on it actually kind of sucks so far. I am posting this in order to keep myself going on the project, though, so the next time that I post, I will hopefully have another, slightly clearer, photo with more stripes in more colors.
