Note: I know that a lot of you reading are Sonic the Hedgehog fans, so if you don't care about Breaking Bad, scroll through until you hit the third cross stitch pattern. I am a little hopeful that this is the only blog that has to have that disclaimer at the top.
Hello! I wasn't going to post here until a couple of hours from now, but I can't get Fox in my room tonight, so while I am not watching girly sitcoms, I figured that I might as well do a blog post! Just like yesterday, I have two Breaking Bad themed sprite patterns for you guys and a third pattern that I drew from my magical sprite patterns mystery jar. After working on the last of my Breaking Bad patterns for the week while I was cooking rice for dinner, which led to quite the in-depth conversation about what a weirdo I am, I can actually say that all of the planned characters are now finished. If you're worried that I missed a character you really want to see, though, you can leave a request in the comments! As my family knows, I already have a super delightful surprise that everyone is going to love planned for Friday's patterns, but I still have room if there is anyone else that any of you want to cross stitch.
For today's Breaking Bad patterns, I'm posting the second pattern that I perler beaded over the weekend, featuring Hank Schrader, and the pattern of his partner, Steven Gomez. If you're not particularly into Breaking Bad, but are really excited about cross stitching either two guys in normal clothes or Big Jim from Under the Dome, this might be a good day for you. Both of the patterns are pretty simple, so if you have colors that are close to the ones in the preview images, it should work out for you. When I did the perler bead version of Hank, I'm not even sure that I was close with the red or the grays on his coat, but it still turned out well enough that my brother, who is a fan of the character, was not displeased. The only other thing that I have to say about these patterns is that I tried to make one of Gomez with the facial hair from the later episodes, but it looked weird and bad, so that's why you guys get the early in the series clean shaven version of him. I did give him his DEA ID, though, so that has to count for something.
I know that some of you guys are watching Breaking Bad on Netflix and DVD rather than live television, so even though I cannot imagine the spoiler free internet that you must have to seek out, I cannot type any more about Hank and Gomez without ruining some stuff. Because of that, here are the patterns!
The pattern that I drew from the jar for tonight is of Amy Rose from Sonic the Hedgehog. I realize that she is a widely reviled character, because she is loud and annoying, but also, she is a pink hedgehog in a dress that hits people with a hammer, so if you hate her, I think that you are wrong. This pattern was a little bit difficult to make, but I was happy with how it came out, so that's why it got to be turned into a chart and tossed in the jar. I'm not sure if I'm going to make any other Sonic characters yet, since I am certainly not a die-hard fan of the franchise, but if any of you want patterns for them, let me know! It was fun to make this one.
With that, I am done for tonight, but will be back with more nonsense tomorrow! There are two different pairs of characters that I have to pick from for tomorrow's post, so I have to decide between that two characters that I know for a fact someone actually wants and my greatest triumph in pixelated hair since my pattern of River Song. Whichever one I pick, though, the other one will be posted on Thursday, so it doesn't actually matter. Have a nice day, and good luck with your crafts!
